Reception and Dinner

| Gov. Rick Perry, speaking after Thursday's dinner, praised transportation workers and reminded everyone of the importance of that work. Recalling an old story about an encounter between a youthful motorist and a farmer in rural Texas ("You can't get there from here, boy") told those at Thursday's dinner that transportation will shape the future of Texas and that Texans can get there (to the future) together. |
